Welcome to Cassell Park Elementary, home of the Knights! This year, our theme is Leading with Honor, Learning with Purpose, recognizing the importance of both honorable behavior and purposeful learning in the educational setting. We believe that ALL students can learn with proper support and instruction in a nurturing and encouraging learning environment. When you come to Cassell Park, you will find dedicated staff who love students, love their work, and believe in their purpose. 

I am new to Cassell Park Elementary starting in the 2025-2026 school year. I was the elementary administrator at Independence Academy for four years prior to coming to Cassell Park. Prior to that, I was an elementary teacher for 18 years, teaching a variety of grades and ages in several different roles in southwest Missouri. I am super excited to join the passionate and energetic staff here and to meet our families as we get the school year started. I look forward to working together to ensure your child receives the best education possible. I live with my family here in Independence and enjoy being a part of this amazing community.
